These terms govern your use of Beecome ("the Service"), operated by Beecome Ltd ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Beecome is an AI-powered CV tailoring tool. You provide a profile and a job description; we use third-party AI services to generate a tailored CV. The output is a starting point | you are responsible for reviewing and verifying accuracy before submitting any CV to an employer.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and resident in a country where we lawfully offer the Service to create an account and make purchases.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must not share your account or allow others to use it. Notify us immediately at hello@beecome.ai if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Nectra credits and payments
- Nectra is an in-app credit used to generate CVs. 1 Nectra = 1 tailored CV generation.
- Nectra is purchased in packs as one-time payments. There are no subscriptions.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing, you also agree to Stripe's terms.
- All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
- Nectra credits are non-transferable and have no cash value.
- Unused Nectra credits do not expire while your account remains active.
5. Refunds
See our Refund Policy. Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day right to cancel digital purchases. However, by requesting immediate access to the Service (generating a CV) you acknowledge that the right of withdrawal is lost once the digital content has been delivered. Nectra credits that have not been used may be refunded within 14 days of purchase | contact hello@beecome.ai.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- Generate CVs containing false qualifications, fabricated employment history, or other fraudulent misrepresentations;
- Impersonate another person or submit a CV on behalf of someone else without their explicit consent;
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract our AI prompts, models, or proprietary systems;
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the Service;
- Upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes third-party intellectual property rights;
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit access to the Service without our prior written consent;
- Circumvent any usage limits, access controls, or security measures;
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or regulation.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules without notice or refund.
7. AI-generated content
CVs are generated using AI. While designed to use only facts from your profile, AI can occasionally produce inaccurate output. You must review every generated CV before use. We accept no liability for errors or misrepresentations in generated content.
8. Intellectual property
CV content generated from your profile belongs to you. We do not claim ownership over your data or generated CVs. The Beecome name, logo, and interface are our intellectual property.
9. Charitable donations
We donate 30% of net revenue from Nectra purchases to bee conservation charities. This is a voluntary commitment; it does not form part of the contract between you and us and does not affect your consumer rights.

11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
